After bringing Molly home, things went well for the first month. At her one month doctor's appointment her weight dropped due to spitting up and not getting enough breast milk, so much so that the doctor wanted to put her in the hospital for "24 hours tops." Those were his words. We ended up staying in there for three full days.It was horrible. They had to give her an I.V.and a catheter. I felt so bad. Once she came home things started getting better. I gave up breast feeding which relieved a lot of stress. Molly started gaining weight, but she continued to spit up a lot. Her first year moved pretty quickly. She started talking, eating solids, crawling, clapping and mimicking us. It seems like a blur, but thanks to video and lots of pictures I can be reminded of some of it.
